I think an ideal solution would be everything is mirrored from my computer to the cloud, but I should be able to specify certain folders be stored only in the cloud.īrowse photos - I need to be able to browse through photos and quickly get access to a photo for editing. I need to be able to offload stuff to the cloud to free up space. Online only option - My computer has a 500gb ssd. I understand this isn't guaranteed, but I have more trust in AWS than any other service at this time. I chose AWS because I trust that it's going to be around for years.

I've tried a lot of different services, none have been awesome. Trustworthy - I don't want to lose my files because some company went out of service. I would prefer encrypted storage, and some peace of mind that if I'm using an app to manage the transferring of files, that it's not going to just delete everything one day and leave my family with no photos. Secure storage - These are photos of my family, of my daughter and my dogs, travels, etc. I trust AWS, and I expect it to be around for a long time, unlike many other cloud services. I'm looking for a durable solution to backup my photos in the cloud. My photo storage is currently out of hand.
